Reservations Now Open For Kimpton Tres Rios…

This has definitely been a long time coming…Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya is now taking reservations for stays starting Sept. 22, 2026.  It was originally slated to open early 2025, then the opening date got pushed to Aug. 2025, then Jan. 2026, now it recently got pushed to this Sept. date.  Will it really open?  Who’s to say, the only difference is that reservations are now possible so it’s probably a good bet they will open on that date.

How’s This For An Oceanfront Suite?

If you enjoy resort guest rooms that have something special about them then how about this Preferred Club Master Suite Oceanfront Private Pool at the newly renovated Secrets Playa Mujeres?  Oceanfront sounds better than beachfront, so I certainly understand why they named it the way they did–regardless, it is gorgeous with lots of room, your own pool and ocean views, plus direct beach access via your own private steps and gate.  The bathroom looks like partial privacy, but the rest is oh là là!
