Those who are familiar with luxury brand hotels across the globe will recognize the name Park Hyatt. They have decided to join the luxury all-inclusive market with their brand new resort that will be opening Feb. 2027–the Park Hyatt Riviera Maya. The property is located north of Puerto Morelos near the Royalton and Dreams Natura resorts. Not the best beach area, however.

The Reserve Building At Paraiso de la Bonita…
For those of you who remember when Paraiso de la Bonita used to be a Zoëtry resort, you probably recollect the upgraded section with the huge suites which were added the last several years it still was a Zoëtry property (called the Impression Club section back then)…Well, they are up and running again and waiting for you to enjoy their awesomeness! They are now referred to as The Reserve Section of Paraiso de la Bonita; guests have full access to the entire resort which only includes around 90-100 other suites, so this is a boutique property as a whole. This is the type of resort where individuals and couples stay on vacation in order to relax, enjoy spa treatments, and concentrate on spending time with one another if traveling as a couple.
Want To See What The Newly Open Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun Looks Like?
Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun, not to be confused with Iberostar Selection Cancun which is located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, recently opened its doors after a rather lengthy period of being in limbo after a guest death when it was a Karisma resort. TAFER bought it and put $ in it, but rather quickly sold it to Iberostar who put some more $ in it and opened its door to families and adult vacationers alike in late 2025.
Finally, A Video Out About the Rebranded (Again) Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun
Just in case you haven’t been following the saga about this resort, Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun recently opened its doors a couple of weeks ago. This property used to be a Karisma Azul resort, then after a Jacuzzi fatality Karisma sold it to Tafer, then Tafer sold it to Iberostar. Complicated but it looks like Iberostar wants this to be a keeper.
