Riu Ventura Resort View From The 6th Floor Adults-Only Pool Area
The Coba section at Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort is a family and budget-friendly part of this Bahia Principe megaresort. It is located inland so if you want to get to the beach you have to take a shuttle or be prepared to walk quite a bit to get to your location. In Dec. 2025, the resort opened its new adults-only section called Bahia Principe Grand Tequila which has 360 rooms, two pools, four restaurants (two are dinner a la cartes), and four bars onsite. Guests of the new Tequila section have access to all common areas, bars, and restaurants at the regular Coba section, and access to the a la carte restaurants at the Grand Tulum section of this megaresort (no access to their buffet, however).
One of my favorite vloggers, Memories and Mojitos, just posted an English-speaking video about their stay at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres. If you want to learn more about the resort and its amenities and general setup, watch the video below.
English speaking videos are slow to come out for the brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres, but I found a video which is done in Spanish which highlights a lot of what this resort has to offer families and adults.
I get quite a few emails asking for my advice about choosing to stay at either the new Excellence or the new Secrets properties in the Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres area north of downtown Cancun. Secrets Playa Blanca and Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres are both fairly new adults-only properties geared towards a couples’ vacation, but how does one choose between the two?
Here’s a short video highlighting some of the major resort amenities and some facts about this new all-suites resort at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres. This resort is for families but it does have an adults-only section–you have to use the spa next door at the Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres property, however.
For those of you interested in the brand new Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, I found a lengthy but comprehensive video about this resort with an emphasis on upgraded Privilege amenities. (And by the way, my upcoming reservation is for a Privilege room, so the info was helpful in understanding just what is available with this upgrade).
This short video will give you an idea about what the lobby looks like at the brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres. It also has a brief view of some other resort areas and some info about resort arrival.
For anyone interested in this brand new resort, here’s a short video showing some highlighted areas of Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres. I will be staying here in May so I’m looking forward to checking out what appears to be a beautiful property with lots of amenities…
The brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres is an all-suites luxury family-friendly resort located right next to Riu Latino in the Costa Mujeres area north of downtown Cancun. It has an adults-only section as well as amenities like its own water park. Take a look at the very short video below about what this amenity looks like…I’m pretty sure Majestic produced this video.
