Every once in awhile I get an email asking me what all-inclusive resorts are “party central” in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. In my last post, I attached a video about Breathless Riviera Cancun and mentioned its topless-optional Xcerelate Party Zone Pool and amenities which encourage socialization and engender a party atmosphere. While this Breathless resort in the Riviera Maya and the new Breathless Cancun Soul located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone are recognized as luxury party resorts, there are some vacationers who still want to find a more hard core all night party which makes them feel like its spring break in their 20’s all over again. Also, the LGBTQIA community and other “lifestylers”, such as swingers, want to find a party resort where they feel welcomed and not judged.
For those Secrets resort lovers out there, don’t forget about Secrets Riviera Cancun; this resort is actually attached to Breathless Riviera Cancun and if you stay in the Secrets section you have access to the entire resort.

I just read that a resort in the Riviera Maya was seized by the FGE on the evening of April 25, 2023 (the FGE is basically the State Attorney General’s Office in Mexico). According to the report in the Riviera Maya News article, the property was seized after receiving a complaint of “dispossession”. From what I understand, someone else has claimed that they actually own the land/property and are contesting current ownership.
