Another New Cancun All-Inclusive To Open Soon–Hotel Mousai

Where have I been?  This is the first time I’ve heard of this new all-inclusive resort.  It’s scheduled to open May 2024 and it’s called Hotel Mousai.  According to Google maps, this new resort is located next to Garza Blanca in the Playa Mujeres area (PM is located north of downtown Cancun).  Resort design reminds me of Miami Beach chic with colorful abstract art, luxury design and finishes, and the use of lots of textures and materials making it an inviting space.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Still Set To Open April 1, 2024…

Hyatt’s newest adults-only resort, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, is still scheduled to open April 1, 2024.  It will be the first of a two-part resort to open with the second being an adjoining family-friendly resort option called Dreams Grand Island, but the Dreams resort is still being completed and will not open at the same time.  When it does open, guests of the new Hyatt will have access to the second resort–stay at one play at two. I already posted an article about the new Hyatt and you can read it here.

Jr. Suite Swim-Up at the New Barcelo Maya Riviera–A Suite Review

I recently returned from a stay at the new adults-only section of the Barcelo Maya Grand resort.  It’s called the Barcelo Maya Riviera, and it is a complete reversal in appearance from the rest of this megaresort.  While a vacationer is more likely to feel as if one is in Mexico at the other resorts in this complex, the new adults-only section is very contemporary looking with modern decor, sleek lines, updated technology, huge screens in the lobby areas, and a much more spartan look throughout.  Guests at the new adults-only section have full access to all amenities at the other resorts at this complex including being able to eat at Palace restaurants without any extra charges.
