A Nice Way To Start The Day…
If I anticipate a difficult work day or am having one of those long work weeks, I often like to start my day with some quick armchair travel. Here’s a view of the most exclusive suite at one of my favorite Cancun all-inclusive resorts, Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun. While I’ve stayed there twice, I’ve never stayed in the Presidential Suite–one of my bucket list to-do’s…here’s a quick video of one of two such premier suites at this resort.
Omni Cancun Rebranded
As of Nov. 1, 2022, the Omni Cancun will be called the Wyndham Grand Cancun. The resort will reportedly change some things cosmetically, but the amenities will basically remain the same with 364 guest rooms and villas, seven restaurants, five bars, four pools, spa, gym, tennis courts, and kid’s club. I hope they are not going to change the beach pool and bar with the swing seats, I’ve always thought this was Omni’s best amenity. In case you don’t know, this resort is located in the southern section of Cancun’s Hotel Zone so that means a quick trip to and from the Cancun airport.
Did You Know Ocean Coral and Turquesa Has A New Adults-Only Section???
Ocean Coral and Turquesa resort has a new adults-only (18+) section called El Beso. Don’t confuse this resort with the Ocean Riviera Paradise which also has an El Beso section (they’re in the same H10 resort family). Here’s another resort in my series on all-inclusive properties in Cancun and the Riviera Maya which cater to very young children. Karisma has a long standing reputation as differentiating themselves in the all-inclusive market with two major amenities–their emphasis on quality dining with their Gourmet Inclusive experience and their willingness to make available all sorts of baby amenities at their Azul resorts.
Armar House Cancun Opening Date?
It’s the first time I’ve seen a definitive opening date for Armar House Cancun (formerly Melody Maker/formerly ME Cancun by Melia). Hotels.com has the opening date listed as Sept. 22, 2022; even the website says “opening soon”, so make your own decision about whether to book if you are interested in this resort.
Another Secrets Impression on Isla Mujeres???
Sometimes I wish I worked at a travel agency and was “in the know” about all things travel. (Well, I did work at a travel agency in my other much younger life but that was AAA in the auto travel dept., and that doesn’t necessarily equate to knowing all things travel…but I CAN say I still know how to read a map upside down as well as all direct and scenic routes from point A to point B in the US and Canada…lol). I find some of the info I blog about just by being curious and researching the subject matter which leads me to this current blog post–did you know there is another Secrets Impression being built but it is on the island of Isla Mujeres off the coast of Cancun’s Hotel Zone???!! When I found the video on YouTube about this resort I thought it was an error and that they really meant Secrets Impression Moxche–until I Googled it and found out this Secrets Impression on Isla Mujeres is scheduled to open Dec. 1, 2022.
