Baby Club at Crown Paradise Club Cancun

Here’s another all-inclusive resort which offers an official “Baby Club” for the youngest vacationers.  It’s located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone on the Caribbean Sea side of the “7”, so swimming in the ocean with or without a toddler/baby is questionable since much of the time these beaches are red-flagged (dangerous swimming conditions).  If you are looking to access a beach which is calm enough for the youngest of swimmers you need to check out resorts on the north-facing side of the “7” (I will cover that in a separate blog article).

The Crown Paradise Club Cancun is a family-friendly all-inclusive which offers a baby club for toddlers aged 18 mos. to 3 years.  Children in this age group can be signed in and left with staff–parents do not have to stay and further supervise their children’s activities.  Babies younger than 18 mos. can access the Baby Club but have to be in the company of their parent(s) and only during certain “family hours”–ask during check-in what the current family hours happen to be for your stay.

This Baby Club offers cribs for napping, changing tables, a small outdoor wading pool and jungle gym, a bounce house, age appropriate soft toys, and limits the number of children p/staff.  There are large glass panels where parents can view their children without actually going into the play area and disrupting what is going on inside.  Hours of the Club are 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; there is inconsistent website information where the FAQ section states that the Baby Club is also open from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., but the regular website info only states this Club is open until 4:45 p.m…..any family-friendly resort in this area of Mexico offers babysitting services for a fee, but again, ask at check-in whether the Club is open during evening hours.  This resort, unfortunately, does not offer baby amenities like strollers, pack ‘n plays, baby tubs, bottle warmers, etc.

Well, what do you think?  This property is not a luxury resort and therefore more budget-friendly for families.  It is an older property with a louder, more busy resort atmosphere, but it is right on the beach with awesome views of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
