Interested in the brand new adults-only Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort in Cancun? This new resort is located on the Nichupté Lagoon side in the Hotel Zone, it’s not beachfront as most all-inclusive resorts are situated in Cancun. Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Still Set To Open April 1, 2024…
Hyatt’s newest adults-only resort, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, is still scheduled to open April 1, 2024. It will be the first of a two-part resort to open with the second being an adjoining family-friendly resort option called Dreams Grand Island, but the Dreams resort is still being completed and will not open at the same time. When it does open, guests of the new Hyatt will have access to the second resort–stay at one play at two. I already posted an article about the new Hyatt and you can read it here.

Christine Turner does it again! She is a Canadian travel agent and makes very informative videos on YouTube about all-inclusive resorts (among other travel opportunities). She has recently posted a video about the brand new Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort which will be opening soon in the Cancun area…I did a short post on Dec. 29 with an outline of what I knew about this new resort, but Christine can fill in some of the blanks info-wise if you are interested in this new all-inclusive property.
New Riu Palace Kukulkan Taking Bookings Plus Riu Offers Elite Club
Those interested in the brand new Riu Palace Kukulkan in Cancun’s Hotel Zone will be happy to know you can book a room for as low as $145 p/person p/night USD for fall/winter travel (I believe you have to book a minimum of three nights). I’ve already booked a new room category for March 2023, Jr. Suite Ocean View Elite Club, for my extended Quintana Roo spring vacay and was able to save an additional $200 USD by booking via the loyalty membership Riu Class on the resort’s website. It is free to sign up! You can choose how to pay if you book via the resort’s website–pay at the time of booking, pay at the hotel, etc.
