If anyone is interested in booking the awesome adults-only resort known as Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, check out the deal I just saw on the Cheap Caribbean wholesaler website. A full week for two in an entry level room in summer for only $3,455 total price. I consider that a deal for this particular property.
Looks like this second video about the Beach Club for the brand new Hyatt Vivid Grand Island (video done by doubleu1017) shows a bit more about this area of the resort. There are apparently three levels with a restaurant, bar, loungers, and a large netted area for lounging (like you’d see on a catamaran) on the top level, the infinity pools and another bar on the middle floor (they have put sand on the top two floors to make it more like a beach), and if you go down another flight of stairs there is the actual beach with loungers and shade umbrellas.
For those of you wondering about what exactly is included with the new Family Selection upgrade at Grand Palladium Kantenah, here’s a video about what the resort area and amenities look like. This new build and addition had its Grand Opening Dec. 2023.
I’ve had some inquiries about what the Beach Club is like at the brand new Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort since the property is located by Nichupté lagoon–guests have to go elsewhere for the beautiful beaches Cancun is known for. Here’s a short video done by Life and Travel highlighting some of the Beach Club’s amenities–looks like two infinity pools (and what a view!), double loungers, wide and lengthy beach section, bar area, and a restaurant of some kind.

For those of you awaiting the opening of the brand new adults-only Hyatt Vivid Grand Island resort, it’s here! The resort opened its doors to guests April 1, 2024 and is ready to happily welcome you.
Now vacationers to the Riviera Maya in particular have another option to shorten their transportation time to their resort once they land in Mexico…the Tulum airport is now officially open to international flights and that includes those coming from the US.
Where have I been? This is the first time I’ve heard of this new all-inclusive resort. It’s scheduled to open May 2024 and it’s called Hotel Mousai. According to Google maps, this new resort is located next to Garza Blanca in the Playa Mujeres area (PM is located north of downtown Cancun). Resort design reminds me of Miami Beach chic with colorful abstract art, luxury design and finishes, and the use of lots of textures and materials making it an inviting space.
This Marriott resort used to be called CasaMagna and it was an all-inclusive optional resort. It has been closed since March 2023, and it recently opened as an all-inclusive resort fully renovated from top to bottom. Not only is everything redone, but the resort added a small children’s water park area complete with a lazy river. Marriott Cancun is family-friendly and right on a beautiful beach in Cancun’s Hotel Zone.
