Interested in resort spas in Cancun and the Riviera Maya which offer a children’s spa menu? This is the second blog post about this subject matter; while my last post highlighted Finest Playa Mujeres‘ children’s spa services, this post will focus on a general listing of resorts in this area of Mexico which offer this type of service.
I believe I’ve just about exhausted reviewing resorts having rooms with a separate rooftop terrace…The only ones I may be missing are the following: the Reserve Rooftop Terrace Oceanfront Suite at Paradisus Playa Mujeres, but this resort hasn’t even opened yet, and the Ocean View Rooftop Master Suite at the newly renovated Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun–I don’t even know if this is a genuine rooftop terrace suite or just a large Master Suite (if any travel agents out there know about this one please let me know…)
I’m trying to finish my book on all-inclusive resorts by compiling various lists of resort amenities for easy reference–can you help a gal out and see if I’ve covered the resorts with water features???
If you’ve decided to stay at an all-inclusive resort, the next decision to be made for booking purposes concerns whether or not to upgrade your resort experience. Many all-inclusive resorts offer upgrades these days–the terms “Premium”, “Preferred Club”, “Privilege Club”, “Elegance Club”, “Excellence Club”, etc., typically connote the opportunity to purchase more amenities and services. The question is, is it worth it?

Experiencing COVID-19 has certainly been an eye opener in many respects. Some issues have been expected but in a more concerted form, some issues are new. With the virus effecting most individual’s travel plans, it brings about the question which gained more exposure in 2016-2017–can individuals be addicted to travel?
I’ve had some requests for more information concerning family-friendly resorts, and in particular, resorts which can cater to larger families. So here’s my attempt to help some readers focus on specific resorts which can do just that. The resorts listed below are geared towards handling families of five or more, some even have connecting bedrooms. Information is divided into two sections, the Cancun Hotel Zone/Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres area and the Riviera Maya.
Whenever I’m missing Mexico and my next resort vacation, I indulge a bit and make my favorite Tex-Mex dish. If you’ve ever had breakfast at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, you know about the ever popular Chilaquiles Rojos/Verdes (red or green sauce) and how quickly it disappears (along with the bacon, lol). While this dish can be a bit messy, it is totally worth the prep and the calories and can be enjoyed as a breakfast or dinner meal.
I thought I’d have some fun and post my top two Cancun/Riviera Maya allinclusive resort picks in the following categories: Best Overall, Best Adults-Only, Best Family-Friendly, Best Value, Best Spa, and Most Romantic.
