I get quite a few inquiries requesting information about all-inclusive resorts that can accommodate families of 5 or more…Many existing resorts can only comfortably accommodate families of 4 but obviously not all families vacationing together only consist of 2 parents and 2 children–it’s become quite a vacation trend for multigenerational family vacations where there are lots of people wanting to stay together in close proximity to one another.

If you’ve been reading my recent posts you already know that I took a 10 day solo vacay in the Riviera Maya in Dec. 2023.  This video is my swim-up room at the last resort I stayed at, Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya.  This property used to be Secrets Capri; the resort was closed for complete renovations and reopened Dec. 1, 2022 as a Hyatt Zilara property (all Hyatt Zilara resorts are adults-only, while Hyatt Ziva are family-friendly resorts).  The room category shown in the video is a Tropical View Swim-Up King.

If you are tracking what’s going on with the newly opened Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, you will know that pools are plentiful, ocean views are gorgeous, and business is kind of slow right now, but that is as expected for a newly opened resort that has already made it known that some of their amenities won’t be open until June.
