Want To See My Suite At Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club?

In case you are not aware, I traveled to the Riviera Maya Dec. 2023 on a solo trip and stayed at 3 resorts–Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen, Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club, and Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya (the old Secrets Capri).

Secrets Tulum, as you may know, is a brand new all-inclusive adults-only resort right in Tulum; however, it is not a beachfront resort. While my resort review is still in the making and will be out by Jan. 13, I thought I’d give everyone a look at the suite I stayed in, a non-upgraded Jr. Suite Swim-Out Tropical View.

What did I enjoy most about it?  The bathroom…it seriously is like adding another room to the suite.  What didn’t I like about it?  There’s a lot of concrete inside and outside the suite (it reminded me of a loft-style space), so when staff were pushing carts down the hallway at late hours you could hear them coming and going.  Also, the depth of the swim-out only came up to my waist, so reading in the swim-out pool was uncomfortable since I had to bend over in order to read.  I probably wouldn’t book a swim-out again at this resort for that reason.

But for those who just want to enjoy the swim-out pool and talk to others, I’m sure it would be perfectly fine!

Check out my resort video of the room below–what do you think?  Would you book this suite category?

(This is my last trip with my old Sony Camcorder, so try and ignore the delayed focusing, lol.  Upgraded equipment for next trip to Ocean Riviera Paradise and Hard Rock Riviera Maya in March 2024!)
