Another new resort opening I overlooked…The new Ventus Ha’ is a luxury hotel located in the midst of the mangroves right behind Ventus at Marina El Cid, while Ventus at Marina El Cid was added as an adjoining sister resort to Marina El Cid in 2017. The new Ventus Ha’ opened November 2021. All three are family-friendly; if you stay at the new Ventus Ha’ you have access to three resorts–stay at one play at three.
More videos are slowly coming out on the brand new adults-only Secrets Moxche; here’s one which shows many more shots of interior spaces and what the resort looks like at night. I must say that this resort offers a lot of “eye candy” in addition to some brand new amenities like cenote and sand beach pools.

The brand new Secrets Moxche has only been open a few weeks so there’s not much out there on social media. So when a new video comes out I pay attention. Here’s a new one out by Blissfulboys who I believe are travel agents–they primarily filmed outdoor areas so you can get an idea of what those look like at this new adults-only all-inclusive resort.

I’m definitely slipping in my old age, lol, or else the all-inclusive resort market in Cancun and the Riviera Maya is getting too overwhelming for me to keep track of–I would like to believe it’s the latter!

Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen is opening tomorrow! Yes, really. No more delays. While the upgraded Impressions sections will open August 1, the regular and Preferred Club sections are up and running. Once the first guests are settled in there will be a more accurate report of exactly what, if any, resort amenities are still being worked on (it is a common occurrence for work to still be ongoing on some amenities during a soft opening).
