Since I will be staying at an Iberostar mega-resort this summer, I’ve been doing my initial research of this property and came across some newer information about Iberostar resort policies and procedures which may be important to other vacationers as well.
I always like to know more about the resorts at which I will be staying prior to my arrival…it’s part of the fun and anticipation of a resort stay! Plus I don’t want to miss anything important I should be experiencing when I do arrive.
Take a quick look at what the newly rebranded and renovated Paraiso de la Bonita looks like…this resort used to be known as a Zoëtry property.
The title says it all, back from my cruise and I’ve already made plans for my next resort vacation in July. That’s so like me, I’m never satisfied unless I’ve got a trip on the planner.

Someone brought this to my attention so I thought I would bring it to yours just in case you don’t know…Riu Cancun has changed from a family-friendly resort to an adults-only property; that change occurred Dec. 24, 2024. That means there are two adults-only Riu’s right next to one another in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, and three total in the Hotel Zone’s entirety–Riu Cancun, Riu Palace Las Americas, and Riu Palace Kukulkan.

There are lots of drone video clips included so you get a great overall view of the property and how it’s laid out; the vlogger also goes into much detail about the resort and what is and is not available yet.
I debated whether or not to post this, but as long as there are numerous reportings of this incident at an all-inclusive resort I thought it needed to be shared.
I’ve had some blog issues with my comments section and readers being able to leave comments since my blog last updated itself. While I have been trying to contact my “computer guy” about the issue, he hasn’t replied to my concerns yet and since I don’t have control over what other people do (or not do) I am resending concerns and still waiting…and waiting…
