If anyone is going to be vacationing at Hyatt Ziva Cancun anytime soon you need to know that the resort is still working on their rooftop pool area. It’s been closed basically all summer long in order to renovate it, but it’s unexpectedly still closed.
One of my favorite vloggers, 3 Days 3 Noches, recently put out a video highlighting a popular family-friendly Cancun resort–Hyatt Ziva Cancun. This resort opened in late 2015 after an extensive renovation (it used to be Dreams Cancun), and quickly became a family-friendly resort favorite.

I found this YouTube video by Palm Leaf Travel to be interesting and informative in comparing two popular Hotel Zone all-inclusive properties which are family-friendly–Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun. Both are located at the northeast corner of the “7” (Cancun’s Hotel Zone is literally shaped like the number 7) at Punta Cancun.
