At last, I finalized my resort list for my upcoming April trip to Cancun. I got tired of paying a lot of money just to sleep at an expensive resort my first vacation day, so I decided to look into a much cheaper alternative. Fly to Cancun and visit Maroma Beach in the Riviera Maya, it’s only about a 40-min. drive south of the Cancun airport. Maroma Beach has won accolades from various travel media sources–the Travel Channel thought it noteworthy enough to put it within the top 10 spot in the World’s Best Beaches category several years running.
