While I had hopes of getting a tour of the new Secrets Impression Moxche section while on my most current vacay, the opening date has been postponed until Dec. 1, 2022 so I missed out on that opportunity, darn. While I was walking around the grounds of Secrets Moxche, I poked my nose into some flora and peeked behind fences to get a few pics of some of the outdoor areas of the Impression section. Before I post the photos, here is a reminder of what you will be experiencing at this separate section of this beautiful resort. Continue reading

Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun Adds New Room Category
About Secrets Impression Moxche…
Just a note about the most recent delay of the upgraded Impression section of Secrets Moxche…as many of you know, I just returned from a trip to Cancun and a visit to both Platinum Yucatan Princess and the new Secrets Moxche. If you follow my blog at all you also know that it takes a bit for me to upload all my resort info since I have a regular day job and that obviously comes first when I come back from my vacations.
New Cancun Airport Departure Policy…
I’m back from my latest trip to Cancun and just wanted to drop a note about the current immigration policy change for those taking a flight home from the Cancun airport.
There’s A New Riu Resort Now Open!
If you’ve been keeping track of the many new resorts already open or soon to open in the Cancun and Riviera Maya areas of Mexico, you may know that the brand new Hotel Riu Latino in the Costa Mujeres area north of Cancun just opened its doors for business. It is a new adults-only resort, and while it is not a Riu Palace brand, it has a lot to offer guests including a water park. It seems somewhat similar to Riu Dunamar which I stayed at several years ago–kids aren’t allowed at this one, however.
Just A Note About New Cancun Airport Immigration Procedures…
I’m back in Cancun and just wanted to make a quick note about the new airport immigration rules here…no electronic machines yet which take your fingerprint, instead, you wait in the immigration line as usual but without any paperwork in hand which you used to fill out on the plane or from downloaded immigration forms prior to your trip. Be aware that there are multiple QR code signs in the immigration line saying it is necessary to scan it in order to bring up an immigration form, but just ignore them because this is only for RESIDENTS.
Great Kid’s Club at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun
If you’ve got a child between the ages of 3-12 and are thinking of staying in Cancun’s Hotel Zone for your vacation, consider Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun. It became an all-inclusive in 2017 and offers stunning ocean views from most guest rooms and suites.
Children’s Spa Menu Resort List…
Interested in resort spas in Cancun and the Riviera Maya which offer a children’s spa menu? This is the second blog post about this subject matter; while my last post highlighted Finest Playa Mujeres‘ children’s spa services, this post will focus on a general listing of resorts in this area of Mexico which offer this type of service.
New E-Gate Program Being Implemented At Cancun Airport
I just got through reading an article about the brand new “E-Gate Program” at the Cancun airport and thought it was worth a blog post. The E-Gate program is only being tested at the Cancun and Mexico city airports in Mexico as another way to ease the immigration process for international tourism.
Resorts With Children’s Spa Services…
Did you know that some family-friendly all-inclusive resorts offer a children’s spa menu??? Since I no longer travel with small children (both of mine are grown) and I’m not a spa person, I haven’t paid much attention to the matter. Now that I have a grandson I am becoming more aware of what resorts in general offer children. Offering a children’s spa menu was an eye opener for myself, but it could be something families may want to experience and make it a family vacation activity…wellness isn’t merely delegated to being vegan or visiting doctors anymore.
