I just got through reading an article about the brand new “E-Gate Program” at the Cancun airport and thought it was worth a blog post. The E-Gate program is only being tested at the Cancun and Mexico city airports in Mexico as another way to ease the immigration process for international tourism.
Did you know that some family-friendly all-inclusive resorts offer a children’s spa menu??? Since I no longer travel with small children (both of mine are grown) and I’m not a spa person, I haven’t paid much attention to the matter. Now that I have a grandson I am becoming more aware of what resorts in general offer children. Offering a children’s spa menu was an eye opener for myself, but it could be something families may want to experience and make it a family vacation activity…wellness isn’t merely delegated to being vegan or visiting doctors anymore.
Some travelers are merely lucky enough to see and/or encounter monkeys while on vacation; others plan their vacation with seeing monkeys in mind as one of their primary reasons for staying at particular areas or resorts.

It is free to sign up! You can choose how to pay if you book via the resort’s website–pay at the time of booking, pay at the hotel, etc.

I’ve been to Riu Palace Las Americas twice (pre and post renovations); it’s a fabulous four star adults-only resort for the price–you get a lot of bang for your buck where vacation dollars are concerned when you book with Riu. The title to this blog post is rather misleading since there obviously is no secret to getting a room upgrade. If there were, we would all eventually be in on the secret and all get our dream room for a fraction of what we would normally pay.
