Just a short blog post about booking your spring break vacay in 2024…if you haven’t already booked your stay in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, be aware that your preferred resort may already be SOLD OUT.  I just happened to snag pretty much the last two rooms available at Hard Rock Riviera Maya for my dates of stay in March 2024.  This resort has been on my bucket list of “resorts that are a must to be booked”; I almost waited too long to reserve my stay!!!  Don’t let this happen to you–book right now if you have your eye on a resort which is a must to fulfill your vacay dreams!

Now that the new Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club has opened, expect to see an increasing number of videos about this luxury all-inclusive resort located in the heart of Tulum.  That in and of itself is a rare thing since the only all-inclusive currently in existence within the town of Tulum is Kore Tulum.

Marriott Cancun Omits Firm Reopening Date…

For those of you looking forward to booking and staying at the reimagined Marriott CasaMagna (now called Marriott Cancun), press releases still stay “open early 2024” with no specific reopening date.  According to what I’ve read since March 2023 when the resort closed for renovations, it was originally speculated to be open Feb. 15, 2024, but that date has not been set in stone since the website does not list that date.  Also, do not confuse this resort from JW Marriott Cancun–Marriott Cancun is right next door to the south in Cancun’s Hotel Zone

Avoiding Common Scams In Mexico…

All-inclusive resorts used to be associated with cafeteria-style food in taste as well as presentation.  That is no longer the case; there are many all-inclusive resorts which now have Michelin star chefs, chefs which have won numerous culinary awards, or those who are just plain excellent even without a plaque or medal to show.
