I never hear or read much about this all-inclusive resort–maybe I’m not looking in the right places. Sensira Resort and Spa opened without a lot of fanfare or social media coverage in 2021 and has slowly built a fan base with its many amenities. Trip Advisor ratings are mostly good with an average score of 4.7 out of 5–in TA terms, that equates to an “excellent rating”.
For those of you curious about the new Hilton Cancun’s pool and beach areas, here are two very short videos highlighting what to expect if you decide to book this resort.
Here’s another new all-inclusive resort to keep your eye on. Paradisus Playa Mujeres was supposed to open in 2019, then 2020, then 2021, now it is scheduled to open sometime in spring 2022. (Like the new Nickelodeon resort, I will believe it when I see it). At least they are giving hard hat tours, so that’s got to amount to something positive in terms of near completion. I believe it is located between Villa del Palmar and The Beloved in the Playa Mujeres beachfront area north of downtown Cancun. I parasailed in this area during my Aug. 2020 stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres; if you go to the thumbnail pics at the end of the blog post, it is the first thumbnail in the 5th row down. Take a quick look at a video highlighting several areas of the new Nickelodeon resort including the Lair Suite–the suite looks very nice with lots of room and a large swim-up pool.
