Just in case you haven’t been following the saga about this resort, Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun recently opened its doors a couple of weeks ago. This property used to be a Karisma Azul resort, then after a Jacuzzi fatality Karisma sold it to Tafer, then Tafer sold it to Iberostar. Complicated but it looks like Iberostar wants this to be a keeper.

I’ve had several individuals send me emails asking questions about the beach at the brand new Hilton Tulum. I just found a new drone video which should answer most if not all of those questions.
For those of you interested in the brand new Hilton Tulum all-inclusive resort, take a quick look at this very brief video that gives everyone a sneak peak of what the outdoor area looks like at the kid’s play area of this resort. It seems this resort is opening in sections–I already did a general blog post about it so you can read and see general info on the resort. This new section just opened.
When Hyatt took over Secrets Silversands, they not only renovated the resort but they also added a water park. The water park is comprised of two sections–one for little ones with smaller waterslides, and the other section with lengthier waterslides for both kids and adults. The water park is located on the south side of the resort.
