I found another video which just came out highlighting amenities at the brand new Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. This one’s done by a solo traveler, Roland Baker, and he does a pretty good job of giving viewers a look into what’s available at this property.
The brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres just opened last week and has some awesome suite categories. If you’re a fan of suites with private plunge pools with a view, check out the Mirage Club Plunge Pool Suite Oceanfront. I believe this is the same type of suite I already booked for my next trip in May 2026!
Hotel Mousai Cancun opened in 2024, but some of you may not know the extent of this resort’s suite amenities. This is a luxury adults-only property with only 88 suites and let’s not forget it is an all-inclusive optional resort. That means the pricing you see advertised may be for the European meal plan, so make sure you are looking for the “Gourmet Culinary Meal Plan”. This property is part of the LVX Preferred Hotels and Resorts group.
For those of you following the newly opened Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres, here’s a new video done by Dennis and Teia Travels which highlights various amenities of this adults-only resort, including Privilege upgrades.
I just took advantage of the Majestic resorts offer of up to 60% off…I booked a stay at the brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres for the first part of May 2026 staying in a Mirage Club Plunge Pool Suite Oceanfront. That would be the adults-only section of this all suites family-friendly resort and with its own small private pool. When I walked by this property on my daily beach treks when staying next door at Riu Latino it appealed to me so I’m going to check it out. Anyone who follows my blog and knows my vacation interests knows that swim-up and plunge pool rooms are my favorites so I’m looking forward to enjoying my 1,000 sq. foot suite all by myself (that should be enough room for one, right?? lol). I would highly suggest that if anyone is thinking of booking this new Majestic resort to check out their discount. I got my suite for a steal of a deal and couldn’t pass it up.
There are a lot of new resorts just opening or have recently opened within the last week. Well, here’s another one–Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. It’s a brand new H10 property and is located between Secrets Playa Blanca and Riu Palace Costa Mujeres in the area north of downtown Cancun.
The brand new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres is now open…the Grand Opening date I believe is Jan. 15, 2026. This resort is adjacent to the first resort from my most recent Cancun trip, Riu Latino. It’s got a nice wide stretch of beach with many cabanas–I just posted a short video on my Instagram account which shows all the beach lounging options and brief glimpses of part of the property from one of my daily lengthy beach walks while on vacation.
Just in case you haven’t been following the saga about this resort, Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun recently opened its doors a couple of weeks ago. This property used to be a Karisma Azul resort, then after a Jacuzzi fatality Karisma sold it to Tafer, then Tafer sold it to Iberostar. Complicated but it looks like Iberostar wants this to be a keeper.
Below is a video done by Christine Turner who is also a Canadian travel agent; the video shows what’s up at the brand new Hotel Riu Ventura. For those of you who haven’t been following this new resort, it just opened a couple of days ago and is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun’s Hotel Zone (Playa Delfines). Be careful of the surf in this area, I just read that lifeguards have been busy rescuing swimmers from rip currents so just use caution and respect beach flags–red means dangerous conditions, yellow means use caution, and green means calm surf.
Just returned from my most recent Cancun trip and my first resort, Riu Latino, was just south of this new resort (Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres). When I was going to Riu Dunamar’s Neon party the bus drove past this one and it’s not that far from Riu Latino as well as Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres.
