Bless the person who invented the drone as well as the person/company who decided that making drone videos of resorts could be a money-making business. Gotta love them–they give a great overall view of a resort’s general layout which can provide additional information when deciding whether or not to book a specific resort.

While this resort is on my vacation short list, there is not a lot of dedicated material on it yet despite its opening in late 2015. Although the resort was partially accessible to guests at that time, amenities have been completed in stages meaning that guests have been unable to fully access or enjoy everything this new resort has to offer. Here’s a recent drone video of the shared properties of Catalonia Riviera Maya and Catalonia Yucatan Beach Resorts. I like how it gives a better perspective of the rocky coastline so that vacationers can decide, especially if they are beach lovers, whether this is the right property to book or not. Take a look!

I love most drone resort videos. They gave the best overall perspective and let me know ahead of time whether I think I can handle the size of a resort, its setting (too much jungle/too isolated), or whether I think I will enjoy the beach.
