No more delays, Secrets Impression Moxche has opened. Here’s a video of this new upgraded section taken about 3 weeks ago while still being completed…it looks gorgeous! What do you think? Would you stay here?
Looks like the rebranded, fully renovated Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is going to be open for business Dec. 1, 2022. (This resort used to be Secrets Capri). I found this video which was livestreamed recently by a Playa rep; it gives you lots of detail about the resort.
If you are following the upcoming opening of the fully renovated Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, formerly known as Secrets Capri, here is a video about just the main pool area. If you remember what the pool was like when it was a Secrets resort, the main complaint was one of slipping when entering the pool. Hopefully that has been resolved; it looks like the pool was completely redone so I am guessing it’s a thumbs up for pool entry this time around.
Travel agents can be remarkably resourceful…a prime example would be agents/owners from Lone Star Travel who were allowed to be on-site at the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya (formerly known as Secrets Capri). It is still adults-only but has undergone a complete remodel with some new additions as well–think oceanfront swim-outs, for example. Lone Star Travel reps took videos from several areas of the resort including a guest room category, King Jr. Suite Tropical View.
Here’s the response I received from the reservations department at Haven Riviera Cancun when inquiring how to ensure a confirmed booking at the new Serenity Club section.

The Gypsy Club nightclub at Secrets Moxche is now open! The lighting looks awesome–the hours and what is featured at the nightclub are now listed on the AMR Collection app. Check it out while you are there; it is located on the north side of the resort next to the Impression building.
It’s looking pretty good for the new adults-only Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya to open sometime in December 2022. If you have been following the news about this resort, this one used to be Secrets Capri, a long-time favorite of Secrets fans and couples who wanted to celebrate special occasions.
While I had hopes of getting a tour of the new Secrets Impression Moxche section while on my most current vacay, the opening date has been postponed until Dec. 1, 2022 so I missed out on that opportunity, darn. While I was walking around the grounds of Secrets Moxche, I poked my nose into some flora and peeked behind fences to get a few pics of some of the outdoor areas of the Impression section.
