For those of you interested in what the beach actually looks like at the new family-friendly AVA Cancun, here’s recent drone footage done by My Trip Coach Kaley. While the resort is now open, note that there are no loungers on the beach, so beach setup whatsoever.

Isla Mujeres From A Drone–A Thorough Review of This Beautiful Island…
I found this great video of the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres which is easily reached from Cancun’s Hotel Zone. It’s great for a day trip if you are staying in Cancun or the Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres areas since there are multiple ferry piers to take people over to the island. You also have the option of booking a catamaran excursion which will take you to Isla Mujeres in addition to providing snorkeling opportunities plus an open bar and lunch from your catamaran.
Looking To Find A Beautiful Deserted Beach In Cancun?
Tired of experiencing crowded beaches in Cancun when staying at your all-inclusive resort? Tired of getting up early to “reserve” your beach lounger in just the perfect place with the perfect view? Then get ready to have an adventure!
Another New Video On The Beach Club For Hyatt Vivid Grand Island…
Looks like this second video about the Beach Club for the brand new Hyatt Vivid Grand Island (video done by doubleu1017) shows a bit more about this area of the resort. There are apparently three levels with a restaurant, bar, loungers, and a large netted area for lounging (like you’d see on a catamaran) on the top level, the infinity pools and another bar on the middle floor (they have put sand on the top two floors to make it more like a beach), and if you go down another flight of stairs there is the actual beach with loungers and shade umbrellas.
Want To See The Beach Club At Secrets Tulum?
Videos are now starting to come out after the Oct. 12 opening of Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club. Check out this one posted on YouTube by Happy Travel; it’s in Spanish, but the pictures tell the story.
No Beach At The New Margaritaville Resort??
Ok, I think I’ve found out why new info coming out about the brand new Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya hasn’t included showing the beach…From the latest resort video by This Blond Life, it looks like the resort may not have much of a beach.
What’s Isla Mujeres Like?
If you’re vacationing in Cancun’s Hotel Zone or staying in Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres north of downtown Cancun, you may want to consider taking a day trip over to Isla Mujeres. It makes a a great change of pace if you are becoming bored with staying at your resort as well as a way to see a great beach and beautiful water you can actually swim in (the east-facing beach areas in Cancun’s Hotel Zone are often red-flagged making swimming conditions impossible).
A Better Beach Experience This Stay–Catalonia Royal Tulum Resort Review
Interested In Visiting Tulum During Your Next Mexico Vacation?
Lots of vacationers have either heard of Tulum or have been visiting this Riviera Maya gem for many years. It is an iconic travel destination in itself featuring Mayan ruins, yoga retreats, beach clubs for day trippers, some really great boutique hotels with 5* amenities, and has become a haven for artists from around the world. In terms of all-inclusive resorts, however, it remains uncommercialized in this respect–the only true all-inclusive resort I know about which is actually located in Tulum is the adults-only Kore Retreat and Spa, or Kore Tulum as it is commonly called. While this boutique resort boasts luxury amenities and a great spa, guests are shuttled to another beach since the on-site beach cannot be safely accessed (kind of like staying at TRS Yucatan where you have to go to another resort’s beach to get into the water). The nearest all-inclusive resort to Tulum that has beach access is Dreams Tulum which is just north of the Tulum ruins.
Some of Mexico’s Beaches Are Among the Top 50 Most Beautiful….
I admit it, I’m a beachaholic. Can’t get enough of a great beach. And Mexico has some very beautiful beaches which can rival the world’s best–Tulum and Cozumel, (as included in the video below), plus I would add east-facing Cancun Hotel Zone beaches, Playa Maroma and Xpu-Ha in the Riviera Maya as well.
