The new Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres resort
There’s a recently posted drone video on YouTube (by Kellon Mohan) about the brand new Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres resort. It just opened several days ago so info coming out is slow right now, but hang in there for more videos to share. If you have an Instagram account, there are now pics on there about various areas of the resort as well.
Decorative and main pools
Some surprising news, several Royal Resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya have been sold to Holiday Inn Club Vacations–Royal Sands, Royal Cancun, Royal Haciendas, and Grand Residences now belong to this IHG partner. These properties are the first in the Holiday Inn Club Vacations family to be located outside of the US. It is estimated it will take 1 yr. to fully integrate these resorts into the IHG portfolio with no anticipated changes in operation during that time.
Good news for travelers, the anticipated brand new Tulum International Airport is scheduled to open December 2023. Of course there is no specific date in Dec. set yet, so hold off a bit on considering looking for flights with Tulum as a flight destination.
Today is supposed to be opening day for the brand new Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres. There is a short video out which highlights one of the rooms as well as some oceanfront areas. Take a look!
