I admit it, I’m a beachaholic. Can’t get enough of a great beach. And Mexico has some very beautiful beaches which can rival the world’s best–Tulum and Cozumel, (as included in the video below), plus I would add east-facing Cancun Hotel Zone beaches, Playa Maroma and Xpu-Ha in the Riviera Maya as well.
If you’ve been following the videos since the new adults-only Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya (the old Secrets Capri) resort opened, you’ve been seeing quite a lot of room exterior shots, but here’s a quick video of one of the most appealing suites at this resort.
Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun just opened and YouTube has its first complete video out!! Looks like the resort has a lot to offer families including the large water park, two lazy rivers, separate younger children’s water park, three story kids club, bowling (yay!), trampoline area, and laser tag. Given the info on the video, only half of the water park is open until Feb. 2023, so take note that if you stay here prior to that not all amenities will be open…sadly, pretty standard these days for new resort openings.

The Royalton CHIC Cancun is right in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone (it’s near Sunset Royal Beach and Le Blanc resorts) and not too far from Plaza Forum, Cancun’s hot nightspot area with all its popular clubs. This resort is compact but offers two beachfront pools plus a rooftop bar/restaurant/pool plus party space which holds nighttime neon parties and daytime pool foam parties.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting a video like this–the first one showing the renovations done at Dreams Sands Cancun. This resort was totally closed for several months in the latter part of 2022 and just reopened a couple of weeks ago.
