What Is The New Ventus Ha’?

Another new resort opening I overlooked…The new Ventus Ha’ is a luxury hotel located in the midst of the mangroves right behind Ventus at Marina El Cid, while Ventus at Marina El Cid was added as an adjoining sister resort to Marina El Cid in 2017.  The new Ventus Ha’ opened November 2021.  All three are family-friendly; if you stay at the new Ventus Ha’ you have access to three resorts–stay at one play at three.

Ventus Ha’ is a luxury property with exquisite details–marble showers, in-room sculptures and other artwork, beautiful lighting throughout the hotel, large balconies with hammocks, and a great rooftop pool and bar with expert mixologists.  The only ocean views you will get here, however, will be some partial ocean views from some upgraded upper floor suites since most of the rooms’ views will be of the mangroves along with sunset views.  Don’t let that deter you from booking this gorgeous hotel since it is an easy walk or quick golf cart shuttle ride over to the beachfront Ventus or Marina El Cid  properties where you get beach access.

Ventus Ha’ is more of a boutique hotel with only 150 rooms and suites.  It has two pools, three bars, two restaurants, a gym, and a spa which offers temazcal (“sweat lodge”) service.  With the addition of being able to visit the other two resorts guests will have access to 16 restaurants, eight bars (including two adult-only bars), two coffee shops, nine pools, two gyms, a kid’s and teens club, you get the idea.  You can upgrade to Platinum Club at Ventus Ha’ and receive more amenities including check-in/out at a private lounge, butler service, suites with partial ocean views, more in-room bathroom amenities, pillow and aromatherapy menus, turndown service, welcome fruit/dessert platter along with a bottle of wine, and robes and slippers for everyone.

If you are interested in staying at this luxury property, now is the best time to book since they are offering 50% off their stays as long as you stay before January 2023.  I did a dummy booking for one adult in a One Bedroom Suite Jacuzzi Platinum (this room category is supposed to have a balcony Jacuzzi) for seven nights during October and it was a whopping $1,985 USD!  That is quite a steal considering the quality of the property, access to two additional adjacent resorts, and an upgraded suite.

Here’s a video highlighting some of the hotel amenities.  Would you stay here?
