For those of you familiar with the newest Royalton resort, Royalton Suites Cancun which is located in the Hotel Zone, please be aware that this resort will be changing to adults-only when it reopens on Oct. 29, 2020. Its new name will be Royalton CHIC Suites Cancun Resort and Spa.
This is one of those all-inclusive resorts where upgrading is a good idea and well worth your vacation dollar. The upgrade here is to book “Diamond Club”–here is a list of the advantages of doing so:
- private check-in/out
- use of private lounge with bar and top-shelf liquor
- preferred room locations (better ocean view, higher floor, etc.)
- restaurant reservations so you don’t have to wait 1+ hrs. to have dinner
- private pool
- private beach section
- butler service
- pillow menu
- spa discounts
- complimentary liquors and selected menu at the rooftop lounge
- in-room liquor in higher-end suite categories
For those vacationers who want to get away from kids, there never seems to be enough adults-only resorts. The addition of a luxury all-inclusive in a good Hotel Zone location (close to the clubs and an easy bus ride to La Isla Mall) makes this a welcome resort option.
I have already done a blog article highlighting the Diamond Club Chairman’s Two-Bedroom Suite; if you haven’t seen it already and you want to find out more about it, click here. If you want a more in-depth video highlight of the resort, check out the video below.
What do you think? Would you book this resort now that it’s adults-only?
