For those of you familiar with Secrets Tulum, you already know that this resort is not located on the beach. You have to take a 20 min. shuttle ride from the main part of the resort to reach their beautiful beach club which is now referred to as Zamna Beach Club.
If you follow my blog, you also already know that I stayed at Secrets Tulum Dec. 2023 (if you want to read my resort review, just click here). Since that time, there have been some significant changes to the beach club area including the opening of an accommodations section featuring 21 additional suites and a small gourmet restaurant called Rosewater just for guests staying in this beach resort section. When I stayed at the resort the only beachfront accommodation available was the beachfront “house” which features 5 bedrooms, a private butler and chef, and 2 rooftop plunge pools. Now there are additional options for those who want the beach experience just steps from their suite.
The new suites available include the following (along with their rack rate):
- Casa Zamna Tropical View ($333.50 p/person p/night)
- Casa Zamna Oceanfront ($426.50 p/person p/night)
- Casa Zamna Oceanfront Jr. Suite ($666.50 p/person p/night)
- Casa Zamna Oceanfront Master Suite ($1,200 p/person p/night)
- Casa Zamna Oceanfront Presidential Suite ($1,467 p/person p/night)
Villa Zamna, the private beach house, is listed at $2,267 p/person p/night).
I received an email from Hyatt offering Grand Opening special rates of up to half off in this resort section if booked by Aug. 1 with a stay completed by Dec. 2026. Just go to this resort’s web page and sign up to receive emails, or you can access this offer by clicking here.
Below is a video done by Life and Travel which highlights the exterior area of this new beachfront oasis. Curiously, when I stayed at this resort and visited the beach club there were no signs of construction, so I had no idea this section even existed. It looks quite nice and I’m glad there are now rooms which can fit a beach lover’s dream–a luxury room just steps from the beach along with food, drink, and pool options. Beachfront rooms are part of the Preferred Club upgrade, and guests staying in the beachfront section have full access to the main resort.
So, who wants to stay in one of these new beachfront suites?
