For those interested in booking Hotel Xcaret Arte or just interested in the resort in general, there are some very recent policy changes which have been in effect since Aug. 26, 2022. Here are the changes stated briefly, if you want a bit more specific info just watch the short video following this post; a travel agent goes over the specifics.
- Arte guests no longer have access to its sister resort, Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Bummer for many. There are several exceptions, however, which have to do with guests staying in upper level suites at Arte.
- No more access to the fabulous brunch at HX Mexico. Instead, Arte has included its own Sunday brunch at no extra cost.
- Arte guests can no longer visit the parks for free the same day after they check out.
- No more day passes offered at Arte.
That’s it in a nutshell. I will be staying at this resort along with Catalonia Royal Tulum (a repeat visit at that one) in March 2023 since the beautiful Xpu-Ha beach at the Catalonia was so clogged with sargassum in summer 2021 that I couldn’t even enter the water. I stayed at Hotel Xcaret Mexico shortly after it opened (if you want to read that resort review click here) and have to say it is one of the best all-inclusive resorts I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at–you cannot ever book too many nights at HX Mexico, so I’m anticipating the same type of experience at Arte. I will be trying to stay in a River Suite with the terrace you can jump into the river itself–if anyone has any tips for booking this let me know. I do know there is no specific room category for the terrace river jump experience, so my understanding it’s merely luck to wind up with one.
Here’s the video. I’ve also posted an additional general video of the resort so you can see how beautiful it is. It does look very similar to HX Mexico…See you in Cancun!
