The last post I did on Royalton Splash Riviera Riviera Cancun showed that the waterslides were not completed. However, since then a majority of these slide are now fully functional and look like a lot of fun for resort guests! I think there is only one green and white one which doesn’t look put together yet, but the rest are going strong.
Here’s a quick reminder of what this resort has to offer guests–keep in mind that this property is right next to Dreams Natura (I stayed at Natura right after it opened) so the beach area is not the best. This resort is best for pool lovers, not beach lovers. The resort was built next to a mangrove area, so critters may occasionally find their way onto the beach area. Right after my stay at Natura the resort put up a sign warning against crocodiles on the beach, so it’s no joke. With that in mind, here’s the summary of Royalton Splash:
- 1,005 rooms and suites
- 12 restaurants and 10 bars
- multiple pool areas
- water park and waterslides
- lazy river
- laser tag
- bowling
- indoor trampoline park
Sounds perfect for a fun, active family getaway! Take a look at the video below to get an idea of the waterslide fun…what do you think? Would you book here?
