Park Hyatt Enters The All-Inclusive Market In Mexico, And What Will Become Of Breathless Cancun Soul??

Just some FYI’s in the world of all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya part of Mexico…

Those who are familiar with luxury brand hotels across the globe will recognize the name Park Hyatt.  They have decided to join the luxury all-inclusive market with their brand new resort that will be opening Feb. 2027–the Park Hyatt Riviera Maya.  The property is located north of Puerto Morelos near the Royalton and Dreams Natura resorts.  Not the best beach area, however.

This resort will offer the following:

  • 148 rooms and suites
  • butler service
  • 7 restaurants/eating areas and 5 bars
  • coffee shop
  • gym
  • spa with an outdoor spa garden
  • beachfront pool with poolside cabanas
  • 24/7 room service

This resort location is now accepting reservations which will start at $1,500 USD p/night for two.  If you want to use your Hyatt points you’d better have a boatload of them since using points will range between 45,000 to 85,000 points p/night.

Just a note on what will become of Breathless Cancun Soul…it will change its name to Amàre Cancunpart of Hilton’s Curio Collection.  It will still be an adults-only all-inclusive, but the party vibe will no longer be emphasized.

Here’s a video done by Scenic Views Travel which discusses both Park Hyatt and Amàre Cancun.  Park Hyatt begins the video, and Amàre Cancun starts at 6:57 in the video.

So, what do you think?  Interested in booking either one of these resorts?
