I get quite a few emails asking for my advice about choosing to stay at either the new Excellence or the new Secrets properties in the Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres area north of downtown Cancun.  Secrets Playa Blanca and Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres are both fairly new adults-only properties geared towards a couples’ vacation, but how does one choose between the two?

In the interest of full disclosure I have not stayed at either one of these properties–too many resorts and not enough time to work and play.  I have found a video which may help vacationers make a decision between these two properties; it is done by New Travel Escapes who make excellent comprehensive videos highlighting important amenities and aspects of their resort stays.
