Vacationers interested in the new Impression section of Secrets Moxche should take note that the opening date has been moved forward–again.

While it was anticipated that the resort section would open Aug. 1, 2022, the new opening date is now projected to be Oct. 1, 2022.  I imagine that new date will be affected, in part, by what happens during the upcoming hurricane season–NOAA predicts that the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season could produce 6-10 hurricanes with 3-6 of them turning into major hurricanes with winds over 111 mph.  They are predicting these numbers with 70% confidence…While not every Atlantic hurricane or tropical storm strikes or passes by the Yucatan Peninsula, it only takes one to ruin a vacation.

If you are going to stay in this area during the upcoming summer and fall months, you may want to think about insuring your stay.
