With this sargassum season already seeing three major landfalls of the brown “scourge” (and it’s only May), Quintana Roo vacationers have a realistic concern about their upcoming holiday ruined by the worst sargassum season since 2018.

(The Akumal beach webcam posted by LocoGringo and the webcam near Dreams Sands are not a continual live feed but they update every couple of minutes).
