For those Hyatt Zilara Cancun lovers out there, your wait is over. After an entire year of being closed for renovations, this premier and much beloved all-inclusive resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone is now open once again for business.
It probably is best to say at this point “what hasn’t been renovated” at this resort. Even the iconic pillars on everyone’s balconies are gone. There have also been additions including Casa Adelita which appears to be a new dining concept with one seating p/day with only a 10 guest capacity, a new Italian restaurant for lunch and dinner options, and Bokeh which appears to be a 90 minute presentation for wine afficionados with live music–space available for only 23 guests.
When I was taking a shuttle from Riu Ventura to Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres on my latest Cancun vacay the ride went past this resort on May 1 which is the day it opened; there were still ladders about so I assumed it still was under construction but evidently that was the day they accepted new guests for their reopening.
Below is a very short video with resort rendition pics, there is not much out yet video-wise about this resort so I will post that when it becomes available.
So who’s planning on going or revisiting this resort?
