Here’s A Few Outdoor Shots of Secrets Impression Moxche…

While I had hopes of getting a tour of the new Secrets Impression Moxche section while on my most current vacay, the opening date has been postponed until Dec. 1, 2022 so I missed out on that opportunity, darn.  While I was walking around the grounds of Secrets Moxche, I poked my nose into some flora and peeked behind fences to get a few pics of some of the outdoor areas of the Impression section.  Before I post the photos, here is a reminder of what you will be experiencing at this separate section of this beautiful resort.

  • Both check-in and check out have no specified times.  Normally, most resorts in this part of Mexico have standard 3 p.m. check-in and 12 noon check out times and try to stay pretty close to those time frames.  While the regular part of Secrets Moxche does have this in effect (I wound up getting my room key at 2:30 p.m. even though I got to the resort around 12 p.m.), the Impression section allows guests to have advance check-in if their suite is available.  I’m not quite sure how the check out will work if the resort has back-to-back bookings in a particular suite category which has a limited number of those rooms, but I will leave that to the experts to figure out how to pacify irritated guests who just want to get into their rooms as soon as they arrive.
  • 24-hr. concierge service, and every room has a butler who will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • maid service 3 times p/day
  • in-room mini-bar serviced twice daily
  • 24-hr laundry service
  • complimentary 20-min. hydrotherapy access at the spa
  • every room (with the exception of swim-up suites) has a balcony/terrace soaking tub (that is not the case at the regular Secrets Moxche section)
  • private beachfront pool
  • private beach area
  • separate rooftop infinity pool, bar, and restaurant
  • private beachfront restaurant, Teodoro, which looks like it will be an additional cost even for Impression guests
  • private open-air beachfront restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • exquisite suites including a Presidential Beachfront Villa and 2-Story Penthouse Oceanfront Suite
  • complete access to the regular Secrets Moxche section

Keep in mind this is a very pricey resort.  For my entry level Jr. Suite with Tropical View at the regular Secrets Moxche section I paid almost $1,000 p/night for two people.  For the new Impression section, the rack rate starts at $1,068 p/person p/night.

Here’s the pics…there’s not many but it gives you an idea of the private beachfront pool area as well as the swim-up suite terrace.

Would you book the Impression section?
