Grand Palladium One Of The Best For Baby Clubs…

I already posted about the Baby Club at the Grand Palladium in the Riviera Maya, so let’s not forget its sister resort, Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres.  This resort is located north of downtown Cancun outside of the Hotel Zone and also just north of the gated community of Playa Mujeres.  I stayed at the adults-only section, TRS Coral, back in Jan. 2019, so if you want to find out more about this resort as a whole you can click this link.

Both Grand Palladium resorts not only provide baby amenities, they also provide allotted space specifically for very young ones as well as the opportunity to drop off your baby for a couple of hours during the day to have some adult time at no extra cost.  The Baby Club here has the following:

  • for ages 1-3 (the only negative aspect since babies under age 1 are not allowed)
  • nursery area which has cribs and changing mats
  • safe padded furniture
  • age appropriate toys including a small ball pit
  • small outdoor area shared with the Mini Club (the next older age group)
  • open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres has a separate Family Selection part of the resort which is an additional upgrade.  It has additional child-friendly amenities plus a private pool just for guests in this section.  You don’t have to book a room in this section to be able to use the Baby Club.  I would say the Family Selection is best for kids older than age 4.

If you want to see what the Baby Club looks like, just click this link for a short video.

What do you think?  Would you bring your young ones to this resort?

  1. Hi there! Thanks for this. Why do you recommend the Family Selection for older than age 4? I am considering this resort for a family with a 3-year-old. Thanks!

    • Christine: The Family Selection is an upgrade so guests will pay more for extra amenities. If the 3 yr old is able to participate in all the offered amenities there is no problem, nor is there a problem if the parents want to pay extra even though the child may not be able to partake fully in all amenities offered in this section. I just mentioned age 4 as a rough estimate of kids who may be able to fully enjoy the extra amenities. I’m sure some 3 yr olds would do just fine (see Family Boss section under Services for extra amenities list).
