Has anyone ever stayed at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen?  I believe at one time this was an all-inclusive optional family-friendly resort, and as of summer 2025 it now is an adults-only all-inclusive resort called Devossion by Live Aqua Playa del Carmen.  The resort is supposed to have its grand opening Oct 15, 2025.

Devossion has 314 guest rooms and suites, three outdoor pools (I think it will have a rooftop pool as well), five restaurants, five bars (including a speakeasy which will open in Dec.), a spa, gym, and it’s within walking distance of PDC’s famous 5th Avenue so that is a huge plus for guests who want to go shopping, get a vibe for PDC in general, or those who want to walk to the famous nightclubs on 12th (it’s only about a 10-15 min. walk each way).

Devossion is right next door to Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen (which used to be called the Hilton PDC), and it’s also within easy walking distance to Mamita’s Beach Club which is a famous beach club in PDC.
