I find videos about others’ resort recommendations very interesting, especially so when I’ve stayed at some of the exact same properties and might have an entirely different opinion on where I would rate them in my own recommendations (please see my blog articles dated July 7 and July 10 on my own personal adults-only and family favorite resort choices).

Here’s another video about the top 5 newer resorts in the Cancun area according to RESORIA–it talks about two of the properties I just stayed at during spring of this year including Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres and Majestic Mirage.  Just a couple of notes, Majestic Mirage is located in the Costa Mujeres area north of downtown Cancun not the Playa Mujeres area which is slightly south of this resort.  Ocean Allure does not have a wave pool, it has a lazy river and FlowRider.  Also, there is more than Expedia one uses as a wholesaler with which to compare resort website prices (I wonder if Expedia is some sort of sponsor here??).  I don’t like to use wholesalers since I’ve had some negative experiences using some for bookings but I completely understand the need to get the best price on something.
