Isla Mujeres is just a short ferry ride away from Cancun–there are several ferry piers within Cancun’s Hotel Zone as well as two in the area just south of Playa Mujeres, so it’s fairly easy to get over to that small island.

If you are looking for something different in terms of adults-only all-inclusive resorts, check this new one out–Almare, A Luxury Collection Resort by Marriott.  It is located on Isla Mujeres and just opened a couple of weeks ago.  I don’t know too much about this resort–from the video which is posted below the food looks like it might be stellar, but the beach looks a bit “meh”, I will have to do some extra reading about this one.
