Riu is opening a brand new family-friendly resort in Cancun’s Hotel Zone…it’s supposed to open Dec. 2025 so we will see if that actually happens.  It’s called Riu Ventura and it’s family-friendly with an adults-only rooftop pool area.

Below is a resort video done by one of my favorite vloggers, Christine Turner, who is a Canadian travel agent.  Ms. Turner does a great job at explaining all the amenities that this resort is supposed to offer…take a look and let me know if you are thinking of staying here.  I am thinking about booking this resort for spring 2026 (I’m not brave enough to book it for right after it opens) and look forward to seeing the beautiful beach area which fronts the resort.
