The other day I posted an article in my new rooftop terrace room category series, only this time it was about this suite at Excellence Riviera Cancun.  Here’s another video and a little more about that resort in general if you want additional information.

For those who don’t already know, Excellence RC is located right next to Dreams Riviera Cancun just north of Puerto Morelos.  The last time I was in this area I was staying at Dreams during the month of November 2020, and the weather and beach area were stellar for the most part.  Vacationers thinking of staying at resorts in the Puerto Morelos area should be aware that this is not always the case.  Since sargassum started accumulating on the eastern shores of the Yucatan Peninsula in 2017, the sargassum “season” now starts to run from late spring through mid October, and beach lovers are more likely to be disappointed staying anywhere in this part of the Riviera Maya during seasons with heavy sargassum deposits.  With that being said, this resort has a lot to offer adults (Excellence resorts are adults-only) who are looking for luxury amenities while still having a good time in a fun atmosphere.
