There are probably many vacationers who want an excellent luxury adults-only all-inclusive resort with a balcony/terrace plunge pool but don’t want to deal with the stairs leading up to the rooftop terrace. Well, here’s an alternative. Excellence Playa Mujeres is one of the most popular luxury adults-only all-inclusive resorts in the area (according to Trip Advisor) and it offers vacationers a suite with a HUGE terrace that you can access directly from your sliding door. It’s not just Trip Advisor that labels this resort as popular, I have talked to lots of fellow guests on my many Mexico all-inclusive trips and it is inevitable that this resort’s name eventually becomes part of the conversation as being a repeat favorite. It obviously has a very loyal following.
It’s labelled as the Terrace Suite With Plunge Pool. It’s not an Excellence Club upgraded room category so it won’t have the extra amenities that an upgraded suite would have, but it does have all the bells and whistles of a plunge pool suite including the following:
- 1,600 sq. feet
- large terrace with plunge pool, furniture including full loungers/day beds, and outdoor shower
- in-suite Jacuzzi
- in-room bottles of liquor plus a bottle of red wine
- fully stocked mini-bar including snacks
- 24–hr. room service
- guaranteed king bed

- room service box
Keep in mind that these rooms are not near the beach and also have a bathroom with partial privacy.
