FYI:  I just got informed that the opening date for this resort is scheduled for Dec. 1, 2022.

Remember Secrets Capri?  Maybe you stayed there in the past, maybe you wanted to stay there but didn’t have a chance (like me)…in either case, Secrets Capri is being completely renovated into the new adults-only Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya.

There is not much known about the new property; Hyatt hasn’t even put up a description yet on their main website.  As a result, there are only bits and pieces of info which are released periodically by Hyatt.  The video below was recently produced by a travel agent, Christine Turner, who has lots of experience with visiting and booking all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.  Apparently Hyatt has put out some info on what the rooms will basically look like, so I’d thought I’d share what little is known for those who are interested in the property.

No news on when it will open, conjecture is late in 2022 or spring 2023.  Have a look–what do you think of the rooms?
