I literally was shocked the other day when I discovered that the infamous resort name brand “Conrad” currently has an all-inclusive optional meal plan in place until the end of 2026 at Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya (some past reports claim it ends by Nov. 1, 2026, while other sources state that it ends by Jan. 1, 2027). Conrad Hotels (and now Resorts) has always been synonymous with luxury details and accommodations, great food, and upscale everything. There are still vacationers who would never expect Conrad to offer an all-inclusive plan because they still associate all-inclusive resorts to have bad food, weak drinks, “less than” everything in comparison. Some of that may be true at select resorts, but the last several years there definitely has been an upswing in select all-inclusive resorts offering Michelin star chefs, luxury stays, and the most updated amenities for their guests. My guess is the Conrad is doing a test run to see how financially successful they are with the temporary addition of the meal plan and decide from there whether they are going to extend it further, perhaps make it a permanent addition, or cancel it and go back to making it a totally European meal plan like before.
The name of the all-inclusive meal plan is ULTRA All-Inclusive Package (if you don’t book this package you will wind up with the standard EP). Here is what you will get with this plan at Conrad Tulum:
- This plan applies to all adults registered in a room and up to two children under the age of 12.
- Complimentary shared r/t airport transportation.
- Minimum stay is three nights.
- Bar drinks available 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (this may be select bars the way it is stated on the website).
- Restaurants: Food included is breakfast buffet at Arbolea, lunch and snacks at Chiringuitos and Ultramar, dinner at Maratea, Kengai, and Ultramar. Restaurant exclusions include Autor and Ukai as well as tasting menus and culinary experiences.
- Conrad guests can visit the adjoining Hilton Tulum for dinner at the following restaurants: La Luce, Maxal, Auma, and Noriku.
While Conrad guests have access to Hilton Tulum for dinner, Conrad guests don’t have unlimited privileges and access to the neighboring Hilton Tulum whether or not they have purchased the Ultra All-Inclusive Package.
Here’s a video done by 2 Getaway Travel about the basics of Conrad Tulum. It doesn’t show the kid’s amenities, but this is a luxury family-friendly resort so just for your info their Kid’s Club is for ages 4-12 and their dedicated teen space is for ages 13-17.
So, what do you think? Would you book this all-inclusive package at this particular resort? Let me know in the comments section below.
