For those Royal Resorts fans, especially those who may miss the Royal Caribbean, mark your calendars for June 28, 2022 when it will reopen as the Royal Uno All-Inclusive Resort and Spa.
This complete renovation will feature the following amenities:
- 540 rooms and suites
- one buffet plus 3 a la carte restaurants (Mexican, Italian, and Asian), a snack shack, sports bar, rooftop terrace bar, lobby bar, pool bar, beach bar, and coffee shop. Room service is available 24/7.
- two pools plus a children’s pool with small water park
- Kid’s club dedicated space plus a family room for video gaming and movie viewing
- new Alea Spa which will offer some spa treatments for children and teens
- gym which is open 24/7
The only difference I’ve noticed with this resort in comparison to other Royal Resorts in the area is that there doesn’t seem to be any reciprocal privileges for amenities including dining at other Royal Resorts. From first appearances, this appears to be a stand alone all-inclusive Royal resort without the REFINE all-inclusive package. FYI: There doesn’t seem to be any full kitchens in any rooms or suites which is totally different than other Royal properties in the area.
Royal Resorts is offering a “Caribbean Getaway” promotion–25% off a new booking along with complimentary airport transfer.
