Now Jade Riviera Cancun is a great family-friendly resort located approximately 30 min. south of the Cancun airport by the town of Puerto Morelos. Consisting of 550 guest rooms, Now Jade is divided into two sections, the non-upgraded section and the Preferred Club section.  Upgraded guests have access to a private pool, private lounge, separate beach area, special poolside restaurant section, private check-in/out, and many other extra amenities.  The resort offers five a la carte restaurants, a buffet, cafe, and two poolside luncheon restaurants along with six bars including a sports bar.  Now Jade recently added a teen club space, and this is in addition to its Kid’s Club which offers activities for children ages 3-12; it is open until 10 p.m.

Preferred Club guest rooms and suites are located on the northern side of the property.  While the beach in front of PC guest rooms is somewhat rocky, one can always walk down a bit to grab a lounger at the non-upgraded resort beach section.  Oceanfront suites have fantastic views and are true oceanfront.  What I like about these suites is, of course, the view, but suites also have a balcony Jacuzzi–what can be better than an oceanfront suite Jacuzzi with the sights, sounds, and smells of the ocean?
