While Secrets Moxche is already open with guests enjoying the resort’s great amenities, the upgraded section, Secrets Impression Moxche, has yet to open.  The new twice postponed date is still holding at Oct. 1, 2022.

For those interested in Secrets Impression Moxche or already have reservations at the upgraded section after Oct. 1, here’s what you will get if you stay at the Impression section:

  • Unlimited access to the entire resort including the Observatory Rooftop Pool Restaurant and Bar over at Secrets Moxche, and Seasoul Restaurant which is for Preferred Club guests staying at Secrets Moxche.
  • Secrets Impression Moxche also has its own rooftop pool restaurant and bar called Cielo Impression Rooftop.
  • Rooms are much larger.  While entry level Secrets Moxche suites start at 668 sq. feet, entry level rooms at Secrets Impression start at 947 sq. feet.  Preferred Club Oceanfront Master Suites at Secrets Moxche are 1,560 sq. feet, while Impression section Master Suite Oceanfront rooms are 1,776 sq. feet.
  • Even entry level rooms at the Impression section appear to have a balcony Jacuzzi.
  • While most restaurants are located on the Secrets Moxche side, the Impression section currently lists three additional restaurants, Teodoro (which may incur an extra charge), Seaside Beach Club, and Cielo Impression Rooftop.
  • The Impression section will have its own beachfront pool with a bar area.  While the resort website doesn’t specifically state there is a swim-up bar in this pool, I cannot imagine a resort with this price point not having a swim-up bar in their own exclusive pool.  Guests of the Impression section may also use any of the other resort pools as well.  Impression will also have its own lobby bar.

Butler service will automatically be part of every suite category in the Impression section.  I would expect guest service in general to be top notch and extremely attentive given this resort section’s price point.

Just an aside, I discovered through my own resort booking at Secrets Moxche that if you want an entry level room, be prepared to pay almost $200 USD more just to get a king bed instead of two doubles in the regular Secrets Moxche section.  The Impression section does not appear to have that same charge; both bed selection choices in the same suite category are the same price.

Also, if you want to see the resort map, try this link.  If the link doesn’t take you to the map, just click on the Gallery on the Secrets Impression website and go to the bottom of the page after the Video section.  The resort map is there.

I bet you can’t wait to see this new Impression section!  So, who’s planning on going?
